Spanish term

Aseguradora/Asegurado (used interchangeably)

Spanish to English Law/Patents Insurance Reinsurance/Panama
LA ASEGURADORA and LA ASEGURADO appear to be used interchangeably here.
I have translated Aseguradora as "the insurance company" and "Asegurado" as "the Insured [sic]", but since this involves reinsurance, I am wondering if the "[sic]" is necessary and if I should translate these terms with the same term in English:

Thank you in advance for any insight

[looks like either carelessness or use of an abbreviated form by whomever drafted the contract]

And if this is true, then it makes sense for you to use the same translation for both terms. But I would also recommend a note to the client explaining the issue in the original and the approach you've taken.

Suerte.

agree Saochan : I agree, it seems like a typo, since article wasn't changed accordingly to the gender of "asegurado".
