Spanish term

preceso

Spanish to English Bus/Financial Human Resources Mexican e-mail correspondence
"Preceso de Juan Pérez

De hecho pensé que ya estaba contigo trabajando hoy por la mañana le envié un correo comentándole que ya puede pasar a firmar su contrato".

Does this mean hire or something like that? This word is not in the DRAE.... TIA

Hola James: I definitely believe it was a typo. See Luka's comment on his "agree" statement. By the way I want to take this opportunity to tell you how much I appreciate your medical glossary. It has been an excellent tool for me. Congratulations on your work.

I think it means the "hiring or recruitment process"

Should read "proceso"
Note from asker:
Why did they put preceso instead of proceso? It doesn't look like a typo to me and it appears in a Google search I performed...
Peer comment(s):

agree Jenni Lukac (X) : Recruitment/ Hiring Process. I think preceso was a typo and that the hits in Google were also typos.

Thank you, Luka, I think what you say is correct
neutral Trisha F : "Preceso" is certainly a typo, though I am not sure about the translation because I am not familiar with this field.

paperwork

This looks like it is related to the hiring process in a business entity, therefore you could also use the term "paperwork"
Example sentence:

The H.R. Manager reviewed the paperwork related to Juan Pérez
