Jane Martin (X)
: Your 'in this context' explanation is fine but but I think it would be misleading to translate it as Derecho Premial as Heraldic Law.

: Your proposed translation of the term, as asked, and your note at 16 mins, are incompatible.

law of primogeniture
I can't find (haven't yet found...) any webrefs to support my belief that "derecho premial" refers to the rules of succession more-commonly known in Spanish as "primogenitura", whereby the first-born child inherits the family estate.
