tuffites
The tuffites result from the rehandling by the water of the Tuf S (or tuffs , for the international denomination).
For example, if the tuffs are set up in a basin, water will be able to alter these Sédiment S (effect of transport) and, joining exogenic sediments, the resulting deposit will be of volcanogenic origin. It is this association which one names tuffite.
