En el Perú "hacer puente" tiene el mismo significado que explica Lydianette.
Como yo lo veo:
Alguien (un doctor/a probablemente) esta cubriendo a la Dra. xxx con yyy (un paciente, en una reunión, un turno, etc.).

yyy appears to be the name of a person, although it's not a name I've seen before and it's not capitalized.

More context please. :) I agree with Lorenab23. Puente could mean so many things. In cardiology, for example, it can me a bypass. The only thing we know is that this is some sort of medical context, but what sub context???

Do you know the doctor's specialty? It seems to be so kind of treatment if the doctor is talking to the drug company and it is talking about "desenlace". Are we to assume that yyy is the name of the drug? maybe if we know what the drug does we can get a better clue?

A falta de contexto:

En México, hacer puente significa no ir a trabajar o a la escuela cuando -cuando se debería ir. Específicamente se hace puente cuando hay una fiesta nacional que cae en martes o jueves, se hace puente al unir el fin de semana con la fiesta nacional. Por ejemplo, si el día de XXX cae el jueves (oficialmente no se trabaja ese día), las personas no tabajan tampoco el viernes (cuando sí deberían), creando un fin de semana largo, esto es hacer puente.
