Hello! I wanted to check what people think "OW en acciones" means here:
"...se aumenta el OW en acciones desde xx% hasta xx%, vs. 40% en renta fija."
It is from an investment analysis/recommendation about a latin american country
Do you think that "OW" here is an acronym referring to the "overweight"? (estimated greater value of the stock, than the current price)
Or do you think it refers to "Offer Wanted", meaning the notification by an investor of interest in unavailable stock?
It would make more sense to me if it refers to "overweight", but I didn't think OW is not an acronym for that used in English as far as I know (while OW is used as an acronym for "Offer Wanted")
Or is it something else?
Any help would be appreciated

But are positive about Cemex because of U.S.:

I was only confirming that OW means 'overweight'. I wasn't attempting to answer the question as I have no idea what it means! Thanks for your opinion though, Robert :-)
