I know that it's usually depreciation for tangible assets and amortisation for intangible assets. In the following sentence, it's referring to "intangible assets" so should "amortizaciones" and "depreciación" both be translated as "amortisation" in this sentence? It just seems a bit strange to have "amortisation due to wear and tear". I would have though this would usually be in the context of depreciation.

As you will, see both sets of context are almost identical, hence the confusion.
