Titulos de tradicion: o titulos representativos de mercancias cuyo contenido funcional viene expresado por tres propiedades: La transmision del documento tiene la misma eficacia que la entrega material de las mercancias que representan (traditio) La posesion atribuye a su tenedor la posesion de la mercancia (posesion mediata) La posesion atribuye a su tenedor un derecho de disposicion sobre la mercancia.

Bonds are usually a form of long-term security but do not always carry a fixed interest and may be irredeemable and may be secured or unsecured." philgoddard Apr 18, 2014: Yes Maybe "company assets" is the idea. Since stocks are also assets, you could say "credit rights, participatory rights, or a share of stocks or other assets". Does that make sense in a bond context?
Meridy Lippoldt Apr 18, 2014: The bond market Hi -- I am clueless about the correct rendering of "tradicion" other than to second what has been discussed heretofore; bonds can be backed by the credit of the issuer or by company assets, among many other varieties. According to Butterworth's Legal Dictionary, "tradicion de acciones" means "delivery or physical transfer of stocks and shares." philgoddard Apr 18, 2014: I see you asked this question yesterday and got no response. There's a comma missing after "credito" - this and similar definitions of an IPO appear widely online, and there's usually a comma, which makes much more sense. As for tradición, could it be this, from the DRAE? Der. Entrega a alguien de algo. Tradición de una cosa vendida Even if it is, I'm still not sure what it means.
