No veo problema alguno con \"inquietudes investigadoras\". En los ejemplos siguientes se habla de \"fomentar\" e \"incentivar\", lo que da a entender que las \"inquietudes\" no son algo negativo como \"worries\" o \"concerns\":

Mi respuesta está respaldada por la definición del DRAE y por varias citas donce la palabra se usa en un contexto similar al tuyo. Estas \"inquietudes\" no son otra cosa que intereses e inclinaciones, no preocupaciones ni angustias.

I'm sorry but I can afford paying yhe job, I'm asking for a grant to study, so I'm doing it myself and I post my translation doubts. When I just put a word the translators told me that it's not enough??? I can't understand...
