La frase entera es " El recubrimiento nominal de las armaduras debe ser igual o superior a 45 mm, siendo el recubrimiento igual a la distancia entre cara de cercos y superficie del hormigón" y estamos hablando de pilotes de hormigón armado. Creo que entiendo el concepto pero no encuentro una traducción que me satisfaga.

| Strirrup or truss? According to the description given to me by the engineer it is obviously refers to the minimum concrete coverage for something and if Sergio says strirrup, who am I to disagree? However, I am still a bit doubtful. Thank you for your help |

El cerco es un anillo que rodea el pilote (cuando es una columna el cerco es cuadrado y cuando es un pilote circular es un anillo). Lo que quiere decir aquí es que el recubrimiento de hormigón tiene que cubrir el cerco (para que no quede a la vista) y sobrepasarlo 4.5 cm por cada lado.
