I really don't see anything missing here and the nighttime bit is perfectly comprehensible. Newsnight on BBC2 in the UK is well established as late night news programme and Jeremy Paxman has certainly established himself as a successful late night contributor to the channel.

I'd ask the client. I agree that the Spanish is poorly written or something is missing here.

ODD The whole phrase sounds odd to be fair because apart from the "oferta" bit, why would he be an "oferta de la noche"? What does he offer at night?

I don't think it is normal - it sounds odd to refer to a journalist as a product.

Phil I think this use of oferta is fairly normal. The word crops up quite often in this sort of context but has no real translation into English. As to the programme, it may refer to it but without capital letters we can only assume not. If it is in capitals asker will no doubt adapt accordingly.

Is there something wrong with the Spanish here? When I Googled the phrase to find more context, I found it several times, but it referred to the programme, La Noche en 24 Horas, not the journalist. Surely you can't describe a journalist as "una oferta".Has the name of the programme been left out?
