This is one instance where street vendoirs, courtesy of Luis M. & Ana V's (pre-Portuguese penalty shootout) discussion entries, as a term of art hasn't been made user-friendlier in the UK by and with a street seller cf. the E&W & Scottish Law Society's Standard & National Conditions of Property Sale changing vendor to seller.
PS in London's West End and elsewhere in the UK, newspapers are generally free of charge, inter alia to stop street robbers of news vendors (e.g. outside Tube Stations).
