agree Rachel Douglas : With "nut" rather than "nutty" (to avoid double-entendre with "nutty" meaning crazy). / Yeah, but in most of your examples "nutty" modifies "cookies" or "clusters," which for some reason doesn't sound as weird (to me) as "nutty meringue" by itself.

There are all kinds of nuts. Actually, nutty is a popular name in this context.
