You could have either nouns:

"the purchase, sale, rental or lease of..."

or verbs:

"buying/purchasing, selling, hiring or leasing..."

Personally I have a preference for the former (nouns being a little more "official-sounding" and thus more appropriate for a contract) but I don't think there would be anything wrong with the latter.
