"Communal forests are an example of communal property . The resource has physical and social bonds and is managed according to some formal and informal rules by a well-defined group of users who are all memebrs of the local community which runs the communal forest to make decisions about the use of communcal lands they meet in assembly, call the Association of Commoners (Assamblei de Compartes). The deciions are approved by a majority rule and are implemented by a Directive Council elected by this assembly.
