The book on nutrition suggests people give up coffee and replace this with "cevada pronta". Ready-to-drink barley? Does anyone know hat we call this in English? I cannot imagine drinking it!

But if you're sure it's for drinking, I've found this: " Torrado e em pó, pode ser preparado como café, porém sem cafeína. In this case, maybe it's barley powder, but I don't know.
