The central hall of the Central Station will be drastically renovated but the historic character of the building will be retained. It provides travellers as much access as possible, the station plain will be worked on step by step. For the construction of the central metro hall, the walls will first be placed in the ground. Following that, the roof will be placed. After that is complete, the construction workers will continue underground. This manner of work will allow the station’s plain to remain accessible during construction
