The translation of the Social Services Act (Lov om sosiale tjenester, 1991-12-13 nr 0081) uses the title County Social Welfare Board, as does the Child Welfare Act. The title \"County Committee for Social Affairs is the translation approved by the translation service of the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. That is why I called it the official translation. The title \"County Board for Social Services\" referred to by Erling is one I have not seen. I expect the translator didn\'t check.

Erling - I have looked at the document you refer to. The translation used here is \"County Board\" or \"County Social Welfare Board\", i.e. the same as is used in the translation of the Social Services Act. \"County Board for Social Services\" is not used.
