Pursuant to a previous question regarding "sets" or "batches" of medication, the subdivision of these batches or sets is given as "被例分" (e.g. 1 set contains 被験薬3例分、対照薬3例分). I have chosen to translate this as "case portions", but would welcome feedback from other translators.

Often, XX NN分 can be translated as XX for NN, e.g. ご飯三人分=meal for three.
You translation makes sense, but I think using 'for' in this case isn't too bad for clarity's sake.
