not 100% sure about the "identical codes" because it depends on how you got that before in the text. But basically it means the explanations have already been given so they don't add them for identical items.

Thanks Roger! Still working on my patent lingo as I familiarize. So, in that case, I would say "identical reference numerals are used, so they are omitted from the explanation".
