This is probably a rather banal question...but I believe that there could be a specific term in this context that could be rendered in several ways:
An extremely plastic touch
A very plastic touch
Plastic-touch (but here I wouldn't be able to express the "molto"...
Any suggestions welcome...

Note from asker:
Thank you again Wendy. Unfortunately, I don't have any more context. That adds to the problem obviously...just a long list of terms... |

A very/an extremely plastic hand
With textiles I'd keep the technical term 'hand'

: Hand yes, but plastic? See synonyms for plastico:

That is of course a possibility. Maybe Therese has more information.

I see what you mean but I suppose it depends on if the term is taken literally or not, I was thinking of a coated fabric.

very plastic-like feel
I'm guessing that this is the non woven fabric described in this link below:
http://www.meneghinisnc.it/rinforzi/tnt.html
A non woven fabric is exactly what is says. An example is felt. A fabric of this type could feel and seem very much like plastic without actually being a synthetic plastic material.
Otherwise, if this is not the case, this would be plastico in the sense of sculpted (plasmato) or in high relieve, or malleable.
