esame obiettivo:
GE regolari, porto liscio e chiuso. CU mal valutabile per spessore parete addominale. Speculum: eritroplasia periorifiziale, no perdite in atto.
Si richiedono:
Beta HCG ematico, emocromo e PE.
Any idea what PE is? I am sure it's something simple but I can't find anything.

I should have included more sources, but if you search for "potenziali evocati dolore addominale/pelvico" you'll find that PE are used as a diagnostic tool for pain in this area :)

: I don't think your confidence is justified. Evoked potential is used to test for MS and similar conditions.

I probably should have kept my confidence lower, but I had already translated some research about PE and had read additional sources apart from the one above. I knew it could be used to test for neuropathy or spinal nerve compression, hence for pain!

: Maybe, but PE seems a very short abbreviation. Couldn't they just say "con EDTA"?
