I am only able to find one hit when searching for this term in Italian which unfortunately doesn't provide a definition. The term appears an a doctor's report about a patient who has suffered a fracture to the leg. The patient has just arrived in the emergency department and term appears in the following sentence "Arto inferiore sinistro tutelato da emistivalone."
