Need more context I'm with Lucrezia - perhaps it refers to the shape of the hull, but all I could come up with were forum blogs where "botticella" appears just like that - between quotation marks which isn't very encouraging

The latter suggests something similar in English in the field of wood-hulled speed boats popular in the 1940s - the barrel back:

But if it is the heading of a drawing, try to get the drawing - maybe it simply is some kind of barrel!

I found this but if you can give a little more info it may help

A prua e a poppa la chiglia si incastra con altri due pezzi strutturali che sono chiamati genericamente dritto di poppa e dritto di prua o tagliamare. Il primo è pressochè verticale e, negli scafi con motore entrobordo, presenta un'apertura circolare, leggermente rigonfia, chiamata botte, entro la quale passa la parte finale dell'asse dell'elica.
