Hi all, I'm stuck with a phrase that is really baffling me and I cannot find any Italian references anywhere. It is a document from a court of appeal regarding antimafia measures that were implemented unjustifiably and so the original verdict is being overturned. The full sentence reads:
'nel caso di specie, la motivazione circa la misura di prevenzione personale applicata nei confronti di XXXXXX è stata considerata di mesa apparenza'

Translation: 'In this present case, the grounds for the personal measures of prevention implemented with regard to XXXXX have been deemed ...'
