The sentence appears in a document relating to a tender for services. Any help much appreciated.

as Tom Thumb points out, "prescrizione" here has nothing to do with limitation; it's simply used in its other sense of "what is prescribed, established", and hence "provisions" in a contractual context

yes, in fact that particular interpretation of prescrizioni had never even crossed my mind in this context
