"letto il ricorso per sequestro giudiziario proposto dal fallimento X [name of company] nei confronti della società Y nella qualità di ultima subacquirente delle quote della società immobiliare Z ..."
Proposed translation:
"Having read the petition for judicial attachment brought by X’s trustee in bankruptcy/liquidator [???] against the company Y, as the last sub-buyer of Z – a real estate company – ’s shares..."
I guess is it not possible to translate "fallimento" with "bankrupcy" in this case and that "trustee in bankrupcy" is usually "curatore" but can't find another solution...
Also please not we should refer to American law, not UK.
Any help is welcome!!!

Trustee-in-bankruptcy is, in the UK at any rate, used for private indivduals only. Liquidator for a co, but receiver for both.
