I got it, the invoice itself is the attachment ...or a part of the invoice.
I have checked my gas bill and it comes with an email, with the invoice attached to the email.
The email reports this: "La bolletta in formato PDF è presente in allegato al presente messaggio." and on the header of some of the pages of the invoice is written "ALL. fattura". So it should mean or "attached invoice" or "attached to the invoice"

@ Claudia I found some links online to a document system called AllFattura. So it could be something to do with this also....?

@Lara I get your point I don't know why they refer to the attachment when the document itself is an invoice, I still have to understand why, but I am pretty sure that it works like that

@ FPC This is on the invoice, so attachment or annexe is irrelevant

"Att(achment): Invoice # .... "
