Italian term

Cliente esente da spese incasso e bollo

Italian to English Bus/Financial Finance (general) Customer payment terms
This is just one of many software strings, including "Cliente esente da spese incasso" and "Cliente esente da spese bollo"

Would these be collection charges and stamp duty?

Customer collection charge and revenue duty exempt

You were right.

Peer comment(s):

neutral TechLawDC : Needless to relate, collection charge is incorrect (being a mistranslation), so is revenue duty (as being overly narrow), and so is "exempt" (as wrongly implying that a government is a party which is incurring collection costs).

The customer will not be liable for collection costs or the costs of tax stamps and the like.

"Exempt" is never or almost never used in relation to transactions outside of government.
(NOTE: I wrote tax stamps "and the like" because there may be other stamps e.g. for customs duties.)

Thanks. These are software strings so they have to be concise.
