convegno

Italian to English Law/Patents Certificates, Diplomas, Licenses, CVs
salve,
devo tradurre un curriculum vitae in inglese e devo indicare la partecipazione a dei convegni in campo giuridico...la parola convegno va bene tradotta conference o lecture?

If you can tell us what the convegni were (names, dates etc), we can probably tell you whether it means workshops or conferences. Does the CV give this information?

Italian term (edited): convegno inglese

workshop

It is difficult to pinpoint without actually knowing the type of "convegno". I am not a legal person so I would prefer workshop but conference is just a valid alternative. I would add english language before workshop to indicate that the event was held in english

congress

workshop is also OK, I think. Both make me think of "insiders/operators" convening /meeting in one place for something not only for a lecture or a conference but in a more active way
