Italian term
controcupola
Italian to English
Tech/Engineering
Architecture
This term is used in an article talking about the controcupola in the Petruzzelli Theatre in Bari.
I presume it means the inner dome, because it is the part in lamellar wood, but is there a special architectural term for this?
Thanks in advance for any help.
