Found in an english text from Greece about political unrest I am translating to spanish. I haven´t found any english references to this term, neither in the Cambridge Dictionary nor on the internet, so I assume this to be a greek word:
"...criticizing the meaning of public transportation as travel from home to work and back home, like a poleodomic, an urban symbol of obedience to the compartmentalizationof life in jobs and houses."
"...criticizing the meaning of public transportation as travel from home to work and back home, like a poleodomic, an urban symbol of obedience to the compartmentalizationof life in jobs and houses."

urban/town planning
"Poleodomia" = "urban/town planning".
Note from asker:
Thanks for the answer. It doesn´t make a whole lot of sense in the syntax used, but that´s a general characteristic of the text I´m translating. Might be a broken enumeration of adjectives. |
