See references below. It could be an equation or something else. I have also found 'kinematic viscosity' but I doubt it is applicable here.

Die Kinematik (altgriechisch κίνημα kinema, deutsch ‚Bewegung‘) ist das Gebiet der Mechanik, in dem die Bewegung von Körpern rein geometrisch mit den Größen Ort, Zeit, Geschwindigkeit und Beschleunigung beschrieben wird.
