colorfully speckled pattern

gescheckt means pied, piebald, dappled. Piebald is used mainly in reference to horses (spotted or patched). Pied means patchy or splotched.

I suggest a creative translation such as: colorfully speckled pattern

Some suggestions (it´s not as easy as it looks like):

1. multicolored and spotted pattern
2. chromatic and pied pattern
3. colorful and pied pattern

color checked pattern

I believe in the context it is presented the intend is to convey that the colors have been coordinated to present a certain pattern. Or, if they are referring to PLAID, than of course color plaided... It is hard to tell by this one sentence.

Good Luck!
