German term
Verwerfung der Aufwendungen

I really need help with this sentence:
Die nicht umlagefähigen BK/HK sind für die Vergangenheit um die im GJ10I und GJ11I existierenden Abgrenzungsunschärfen geglättet, die in den Geschäftsjahren zu einer Verwerfung der Aufwendungen aus nicht umlagefähigen BK/HK führte.
The only bits I know are "nicht umlagefähige BK/HK " = Non-recoverable operating costs/heating costs and GJ10l means FY10A i.e. financial year 2010 actual

Discussion
But I am assuming your question to me is actually more based on my interpretation of Abgrenzungsunschärfen, which I see as related to this "Glättung". If you see that differently I would also like to hear your opinion. Thanks.
of the cost (whereby cost calculation is probably meant)
<s>than to distortion, </s>. And since distortion also has other meanings you could easily find yourself in undiplomatic waters with "distortion of cost calculations", <s>which I think is probably not meant anyway. </s> I would use "has lead to inaccuracies" or something like that. I just think the Abgrenzungsunschärfen (inexact cost-categorisations of some kind probably) has lead to inaccuracies or ambiguities which have now been removed. Hope that helps a little bit. Sorry I can't give you any more than that.
