German term
Gemischtes Flugabwehrlehrregiment 600
German to English
Other
Military / Defense
...... und wurde im Anschluß zur Stabsbatterie Gemischtes Flugabwehrlehrregiment 600 versetzt.
From a Dienstzeugnis prepared by the Batteriechef of the above regiment. I am happy with the translation of the words but where do I put the 600th? Is it the mixed 600th Air Defence Regiment or the 600th Mixed Air Defence Regiment? Google searches don't seem to help me on this.

Ted Wozniak
: with placement of 600th but would use "combined" and not "mixed". "Combined arms" is standard military jargon.

Kim Metzger
: Training, NOT education. And COMBINED, not mixed.

: Like 1st Airborne and such. Also in favour of Metzger's "combined" as more than one service is involved.

mixed (or combined) regimental education and training program of anti aircraft defence 600
that´s how I would circumscribe the term
Peer comment(s):
disagree |
Ted Wozniak
: why circumscribe when there is a legitimate and standard designation system?

I fed Google with what you term standard designation or translation but didnt come across any confirmation of your term. would you thus pls. indicate the source you refer to ?

|
neutral |
Kim Metzger
: The source is knowledge of the terminology used in a particular field. No need to reinvent the wheel.
