German term
kompliment-vermittelte toxizitaet
German to English
Medical
Medical: Pharmaceuticals
Habt Ihr vielleicht Vorschlaege fuer mich?

complement-mediated toxicity
I would prefer here "complement-mediated toxicity", however, "complement" with an "e".
In agreement with these studies, exposure of human
umbilical vein endothelial cells to low concentration of anti-HLA class I antibodies induces expression of Bcl-2 and enhances the resistance to complement-mediated toxicity.

Immunoglobulin purified from pools of antisera was also highly effective in producing cytotoxicity even in a complement-free system. This reaction proceeded more slowly, requiring nearly 48 hr to reach maximum effect in comparison to the 12 hr for complement-mediated toxicity.

The major activity of alemtuzumab and rituximab in the circulation is through complement-mediated toxicity.

Proposed hypotheses include a hypersensitivity/immune-mediated mechanism involving complement-mediated toxicity and mir-tazapine-induced antibodies against committed stem cells, proliferatingprecursors, or mature blood cells.

Although its mechanism of action has not been completely elucidated, several actions have been postulated, including complement-mediated toxicity.

Growing evidence suggests multiple interacting mechanisms, including complement-mediated cytotoxicity (CMC) and antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC), play a role in the antitumor response of rituximab and other mAbs.

In previous work (... J. Exp. Med. 183, 2699–2704), we showed that multidrug resistance (MDR) cells created by continuous selection with the vinca alkaloid vincristine (HL60 RV+) or by retroviral infection (K562/human MDR 1 cells) exhibited significant resistance to complement-mediated cytotoxicity (CMC).
