German term

ZB

German to English Medical Medical: Health Care Medical Abbreviation
Chefarzt Innere Abteilung, FA Innere Medizin, Allgemeinmedizin, SP Gastroenterologie, ZB Diabetologie

I can find ZB Diabetologie all over the internet but not the meaning of the ZB.

I presume SP is Schwerpunkt.

Discussion

Shane London (asker) Feb 11, 2016:
It was a physician signing off on a work reference
Jonathan MacKerron Feb 9, 2016:
Zentralbereich? @Shane: in what exact context does this phrase come up?
Anne Schulz Feb 9, 2016:
That's what the KBV calls it, anyway (http://www.kbv.de/html/7864.php).
Shane London (asker) Feb 9, 2016:
Yes. I think now it is Zusatzbezeichnung. Additional qualification or designation or something like that.
BrigitteHilgner Feb 9, 2016:

Anne Schulz Feb 9, 2016:
@Susanne Sicher - mach doch eine Antwort daraus!
Susanne Rindlisbacher Feb 9, 2016:
ZB = Zusatzbezeichnung.
