German term

Systemanamnese

German to English Medical Medical (general) medical/case history
In a doctor's report on a patient. Medical history alone won't do. It covers alcohol/tobacco abuse. I have to differentiate it from "Sozialanamnese" and "persönliche Anamnese."

systemic history

Funny, that just came up in a translation I did. Also with the differentiation to social history.

It took me forever to find this, hopefully I can dig up the references again.

history of systemic disease

I'm not quite sure, but it's the only option that makes sense to me since, as you say, social history and personal history have already been covered.
Tobacco and alcohol abuse are often blamed for causing systematic disease, such as cardiovascular disease.

I\'m pretty sure they\'re talking about systemic symptoms of the ANS here. (Autonomic Nervous System) It is well-known that alcohol abuse is an \'ANS-killer\'.
Peer comment(s):

disagree Gudrun Maydorn (X) : A systemic disease is something very specific and cannot be meant here. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Systemic_disease
