German term

Malerlacke

German to English Tech/Engineering Materials (Plastics, Ceramics, etc.) Paints
Greetings,
This word "Malerlacke occurs in the heading of a paragraph about different kinds of paint for which the company in question provides raw materials.
The complete heading is:
"Farben, Maler- und Bautenlacke"

I need a very general term for "Malerlacke". I have seen some instances of "painters' paint", but that sounds extremely clumsy in English, especially in a heading.
I would be grateful for any ideas.
Thanks in advance, elizr

Peer comment(s):

agree philgoddard : I agree with "or simply paints". I would turn the three terms into two and say"pigments and paints".

Yes, pigments is better than colors, but Bautenlacke could also be 'primers'.
agree Lancashireman : Not colo(u)rs which is an abstract noun // Will you tell the other contributor, or shall I?

for abstract artists..no, pigments is correct // knock yourself out, I'm swamped at the moment

I suppose that the company supplies paints and colours for painters and artists.
