German to English Law/Patents Law: Contract(s) agreement
Some kind of formulate to calculate rates/prices in an agreement. What would be the English term for this?

This is the term with which I am most familiar from contracts in the energy (oil/gas/coal) industry.

Is also known as a price indexation formula, but the first term is more common.

staggered prices

How you word it depends on your sentence, but these are formulas used to calculate staggered prices (usually by linking them to an index).
