I would not translate Gewährleistungsanspruch as "warranty claim" here, as what actually lapses is the warranty itself, meaning that any future warranty claims will not be accepted. Whereas in German, linguistically, the purchaser has a Gewährleistungsanspruch from the onset, in English this only becomes a "warranty claim" once s.th. has gone wrong and the purchaser claims under the warranty.
