Of course we know. The sentence begins with "Die Aktien...". / Wrong source sentence interpretation: Titel refers back to the individual Aktien not to the Zertifikate.

For example: If you buy 100 shares. Instead of having 1 Share-Certificate with 100 shares, you can have 10 Share-Certificates with 10 shares each. Or have 5 Shares certificates with 20 shares each. This easy outs the selling process if you want to sell only a few shares out of the whole 100 bunch.
