"Wenn es vorne klemmt, wird es hinten eng – diese alte Weisheit aus der Warenwirtschaft gilt ganz besonders für den industriellen Zeitungsdruck."

Es handelt sich hierbei um einen Werbetext für Workflowlösungen im Bereich Zeitungsdruck. Ich bin mir nicht einmal ganz sicher, was mit diesem Satz gemeint ist (ich habe den Ausdruck so noch nie gehört), kann mir nur vorstellen, dass damit schlecht organisierte Prozesse beschrieben werden. Leider kann ich auch keine Übersetzung hierfür finden.

Kann mir jemand weiterhelfen?

Just an idea:
A stitch in time saves nine means that if a job needs doing it is better to do it now, because it will only get worse, like a hole in clothes that requires stitching.

Quality in, quality out

...I'd tend to go with a more positive approach for marketing purposes. This is a variation on the well-known 'garbage in, garbage out' adage from computer programming, but I think it could work here as well.
