German term

Schwingungen an den Körper abgeben

German to English Marketing General / Conversation / Greetings / Letters Inne
Kontext
Es handelt sich um Trainer. (Vibrationstrainer).

Discussion

Ramey Rieger (X) Jun 7, 2015:
The healing is channeled through the symbols which act as a 'magnet,' or gateway for specific healing 'concepts'. Try it, you'll like it!
Horst Huber (X) Jun 7, 2015:
If the sentence the link takes us to is the one to tranlate, it shows a semantic discrepancy. "Wie Antennen wirken" would suggest "transmit", but "abgeben" would indicate "impart". The writer most likely intended the former, without clarifying wherefrom the healing vibrations come to the body.
Anne Schulz Jun 6, 2015:
Time to clarify your context, Jacek. Is it Vibrationstrainer, or is it the symbols mentioned in the reference you quoted as giving "almost the same" context?
Ramey Rieger (X) Jun 6, 2015:
channel the symbols on the body/afflicted place on the body, do not vibrate, if I have understood the ST correctly, but channel the healing energy. They function as gateways or receptors.
Anne Schulz Jun 6, 2015:
"Transmit" + "vibration trainer" ...ergibt in der Suchmaschine in vielfachen Variationen den schönen Satz: "These vibrations transmit waves of energy to your body."
Horst Huber (X) Jun 5, 2015:
Could someone explain to me why our colleagues would not suggest "transmit"?

relay healing energy

since the symbols are drawn on the skin, there#s really no need to say the body. However, 'transfer healing energy to the afflicted/wounded/suffering body part/area of the body' would work.

agree philgoddard : Schwingung is vibration, obviously, but this works too.

Yes, it is Phil, but if you read the ST, they are talking about symbols on the skin. Once drawn they don't really vibrate but more CHANNEL the healing energy.
Hence, not vibrations.

Good, good, good, god vibrations? Not in this case.

transfer (healing) vibrations to the body

(It would not be desirable to re-write the author here.)

transfer vibrations to the body

deliver/send vibrations to the body

No need to use a more technical verb in this context because that's not likely to be more illuminating or helpful in a marketing text..

"Body vibration machines are workout apparatuses that are built to send vibrations to your body as you workout"

agree Anne Schulz : I like "send vibrations"
