Energy drinks
I need help in giving an appropriate name for this set of test results of an energy drink.
Findings under this section:
Appearance: brown-yellow, clear, fizzy liquid
Smell: aromatic, sour
Taste: aromatic, sweet, sour, tingly
How about 'Sensory findings'?
It is hardly appropriate though, since it is connected to medicine.
Please help me with your suggestions.

Sensory impact
These are non-quantifiable characteristics, so it's not critical to specify "test-results." These "results" are simply subjective reactions to the material, which nonetheless can assist a physician or diagnostician in an assessment.

Sensory test results
I can see the overlap with medicine, this might help.

Ah ha! Eureka. |
Well, I looked for David's suggestion only after I posted the Eureka. I have to agree with your addendum, David's answer's correct. http://books.google.co.uk/books?id=BTR7VEJPDWAC&pg=PA199&lpg=PA199&dq=sensory+impact&source=web&ots=iVfT4b4gS7&sig=MNvoAacvYTMb7vVPdBxCizVD1jc&hl=en&sa=X&oi=book_result&resnum=8&ct=result Let us wait for some more suggestions, if any, though. |

physical characteristics
Google for "physical characteristics" + "energy drink".
Here is an excerpt from the first hit:
Sometimes you’ve got to grab an energy drink and go, but next time you get the chance, take a page from Energy Guru’s book. Just pour half of your CRUNK!!! Energy Drink into a clear class so you can fully “appreciate” the physical characteristics like smell and color (have you looked at regular CRUNK!!! under a black light?) before drinking.

Physical characteristics include turbidity, color, taste and odor, temperature, and foamability.

sensory characteristics
Sounds better than "sensory impact" to me, and appears to actually be used in the field (se references).
