I had translated this as "connection thread", but the client has come back to me about it. I assume it is the same as "Durchgangsverschraubung", i.e. "through-bolt joint". Would you agree?

Nach dem was ich gefunden habe ist in Fachbüchern ein "through-bolt joint" immer in Verbindung mit einer Gelenkverbindung erwähnt.
Der trough-bolt joint auf der Webseite dieser Firma sieht mir eher wie ein compression fitting aus.
