German term

DG-Anlenkung

German to English Tech/Engineering Engineering (general) Railways engineering

Discussion

Marcus Malabad Apr 28, 2005:
Alan, why don't you post *ALL* your context within the body of the question instead of trying to add notes all the times (and each time a member urges you to post more context...like me)? Marcus
David Moore (X) Apr 27, 2005:
Again, we need CONTEXT. WHAT is the vehicle, exactly?

3 KudoZ points awarded for this answer. Comment: "Yes, linkage it is. Thanks! For David: I've tried many times to post additional information, but it doesn't appear. Still, it seems very clear to me with the context given.

anderen Teil sein (hinged connection or journal).

I know this word from the crane field where there are many "Anlenkpunkte" in an articulated luffing crane, i.e. hinged connections (for instance between the jib and the jib boom; the jib boom and the column and so on)
