Während meiner Ausbildung an Simatic S5 und S7 habe ich diese Art des Datenverkehrs kennengelernt. Polling ist eine Standardmethode. Alternativ dazu gibt es auch das Abfragen nach Interrupt-Auslösung oder das eigenständige Senden (wenn das externe Gerät dazu berechtigt ist).

Übrigens ist das "cyclically" bereits in der Definition von Polling enthalten, so daß auch einfach nur Polling gesagt werden braucht.

| Thanks, that sounds excellent, but is Datenverkehr/Datenaustausch actually "polling"? I would certainly have though that "zyklischer Datenaustausch" must be "cyclic data exchange" and the term googles very well in conjunction with Profinet and Profinet IO. |
