usw.).
entgegen. Bitte lassen Sie uns bis Ende Januar 2003 wissen, was Sie zur Sprache
bringen möchten.

Discussion

Horst Huber (X) Nov 21, 2011:
Interesting, and thank you! Such things were strictly subliminal when I went through the process.
Paul Skidmore Nov 21, 2011:
Examination of "Haltungen" The various curricula (Lehrpläne) established for the Berufsmaturität discuss the examination of Haltungen, Kenntnisse and Fertigkeiten.
Horst Huber (X) Nov 21, 2011:
"Prüfung von Haltungen" reads very strange. Are we sure the intent is not "Abhaltung von Prüfungen"? Otherwise, it may indeed not be restricted to doctoral "Promotion", and I wonder indeed if it is not academic advancement in general.

Rules governing progression

In this Swiss context, it appears that "promotion" has nothing to do with higher degrees but simply being allowed to progress from one semster to the next.

See Article 17 of the regulation:

PhD regulations

Probably most widely used. Otherwise doctoral rules/regulqtions.

Assuming it is referring to a post-graduate "Promotion", which seems to me more than likely.
